3820X remote issues

Hi, I have a Roku 3820X. Unfortunately my puppy chewed the remote now it's not working on all the buttons.
I contacted the UK supplier for a replacement.
They don't have any.
I contacted Roku customer support. They have them buy won't sell me one.
I bought and returned a replacement remote because it was for a 3810.
Unfortunately whilst trying to get it to connect I factory reset the Roku. Now it's not connected at all so even the phone app doesn't work.
Where can I get replacement 3820X remote?
Anazon, ebay and even google search has nothing!!!

Is the 3820 a Stick? Stick+? Is there a suffix? 3820EU maybe?

If so, are you saying the 3810 remote didn't work with it? Just wouldn't pair? What error did you get?

Finally, when you went to the accessories link at the bottom of the Roku home page (which takes you to http://www.mediastreamingmarket.com/) why wouldn't they let you buy one? They're £19.99 if it's a Stick+.

Its a Roku streaming stick+.
Model 3820x.

Only have remotes compatible with Roku models 3600, 3800 and 3810.
Totally stuck.

I'm looking on Google, and I don't even see a Roku 3820.. I think it's a Roku 3810.

I wish it was a 3810.
On the Roku stick it says Model 3820x.
I also bought a 3810 remote, that will not connect.
AND www.mediastreamingmarket.com emailed me saying they only have remotes compatible with Roku models 3600, 3800 and 3810. Not 3820x.
Roku have no model number information on there website.
Does anyone from Roku ever help out on this forum.

This isn't a support forum.. more of a general community forum with a touch of official support.

But if you don't believe me, Google "Roku 3820" and no results will show up. If it's a Roku stick, I see no reason why a 3810 model remote won't work with yours.. I'm guessing they're almost identical.

I believe you.
I've been googling it for a week and have found nothing about 3820x.
They look identical.
I bought a 3810 remote and it doesn't work.
Could be the new remote's defective.
Could be Roku made a change between 3810 and 3820x.

Have you called support? The way Roku's been making Sticks lately, the remotes are usually interchangable.

Go to Settings > System > About.  You should see both model number and the serial number there.  PM me both of them, and I can advise further.

Didn't consider that.  Thanks for the reminder.

We do have a 3810EU model, but nothing I'm seeing says 3820X.

@OP: there should be a sticker somewhere on the unit that gives the serial number, and/or the box if you still have it.

No wonder I couldn't find anything.
Must be a defective replacement remote.

Does the pairing light not blink on the remote when you push the pairing button for 3 seconds?

Also, what is the model # printed on the remote? If the company sent you an infrared remote mistakenly, it won't work.
