Can someone verify if Roku has dropped support for 59.94 variable framerate H264 mp4s in their new steaming devices or if this is just a bug that can be fixed. Please see the following topic for the details:
This is a useful feature for those of us still watching DVDs as many are fully interlaced and look much better converted 59.94 fps. Handbrake default is variable framerate as constant does not always work on DVDs with mixed framerates or DVDs with both Progressive and Interlaced frames. Also, many foreign films that are released to NTSC DVD have been hard telecined from PAL 25 fps to 30 fps and converting to 59.90 keeps them playing smoothly. Older Rokus support 59.94 variable framerate. It looks like the new Rokus still support 24p and 30p variable framerates which is needed and again is the Handbrake default. Thank you for any info you can provide.
