Maybe the fact that ABC hasn't carried Monday Night Football since the 2005 season is part of the problem. It may indeed be temporary, as ESPN only has the contract through the 2021 season.

Monday Night Football is available for streaming on the ESPN app. Your confusion is probably caused by the local ABC affiliate often times carrying ESPN's coverage on their OTA and streaming apps.
This was the case last night with the Phila ABC affiliate "simulcasting" the ESPN feed of MNF.
