Hello all
I subscribe to curiosity stream using my Roku 1. It's worked for over a month. I was gone for a week came back and the Curiosity stream channel (app) will not complete loading. It starts to log on and stops and flashes back to the roku home page.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Channel.
I've tried updating my Roku.
I've tried the Roku Channel itself to screen the Curiosity stream channel but that does not give you a login option. It gives you try it for 7 days only. Since I already subscribe I'm not going to re-subscribe.
I'm not sure what else to try , any suggestions?

After removing a channel you should restart the Roku to be sure all vestiges of the channel are removed befire you reinstall the channel.

Don't know whether this applies to an old Roku 1, but it's worth a try.

It's also possible the Curiosity channel is no longer compatible with the older model Roku players. I have no idea personally, but a possibility.

Is CuriosityStream the only channel that you observe this issue with? It's possible there may be an issue within the channel itself that the service provider will need to investigate. 

Try removing the CuriosityStream channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the CuriosityStream channel back once more. Does this clear up the issue you are seeing?

If you're still experiencing an issue, try checking for any system updates in Settings>System>System update>Check now. If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to CuriosityStream directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform is developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist.

Update. I tried a combination of suggestions offered. After removing the app, turning off the Roku, restarting and re-adding the app it worked!
Curiosity stream was the only problem channekd I was having with my Roku 1 Channels.
