Ny Roku has new build update...
Since my box is only 2 weeks old, I was browsing the various setting pages and 'checked' for an update...Low and behold.... I got one !!!

Would the update have happened automatically, or do I need to continue to check for them ??

ALSO...It sure would be nice if the updates were posted some where. It would also be great to have a brief description of what the new update will do for us, etc. Maybe this section of the forum would be a good place to post that information ?

Yes, the update would have happened automatically. They post announcements if an update adds features, changes the UI, or some other change that users will see. The usually don't announce bug fixes and other under the hood updates.

If they could just provide a heads-up with a brief general comment...

Sorry, wrong. It was "Share and Watch HD Video" But yeah, I didn't say it would be a usable clue. I'll have to think of new clues going forward.
