I'm disappointed. I thought this was going to be a channel to predict what channel Nowhereman was going to create next. Weather? Who goes outside anymore? My remote doesn't work from there.

What you need is a good IR-RF remote extender!

I'm just wondering, how hard would it be to add a satellite map (animated or static)? That would be a really cool feature if it's practical to do.

Working on it. Also on the todo list are support for remembering multiple locations and a companion screensaver.

Awesome!

You need to set up a paypal donation page. I certainly feel I owe you a few bucks!

Can the Roku view Animated GIFs? If it can you could then use the Animated Radar on Wundergroud.com. I've been trying to find a Channel that I could use to View these GIFs (Meaning, Directly from Wunderground Servers so they update) but haven't had any luck. It'd be great if you could get that to work because I use Animated Radar a lot to predict If I'll get hit by Rain or Not because the Normal Forecasts are just not Accurate enough and I got Rid of Cable when I got on Demand (Roku) so I don't get the Wheather Channel anymore with their "Local on the 8s".

If you could do this it'd be the Best. Even better if you could get it to show the Local Radar based on the Zip Code. (The Image Link contains Lat/Lon to Determine City Location.)
PS: Here is the link to all of Wunderground's Regional Radars:http://www.wunderground.com/radar/mosaic.asp

Here are a Few examples from Wunderground(These are the Latest from when you last refreshed this page):

I don't think the box supports annimated GIF's, at least not the one I tried a little while back.

Awesome...Awesome.. The cams are sweet!

For the suggestion box for the next version:

1) Is there a way to offer just a numeric keypad? Changing the zip code can be a pain.(I've been using it to check out the cam across the country!!) Maybe use an entry screen like the LED time/temp screensaver. It also stores 5 zip codes.

2) Maybe add a timestamp for the last time the data on the main screen was updated ?

I agree that the full keyboard is a little overkill for the ZIP. However, I think I should point out that limiting to digits only, also limits the usage to USA only. For example, I've sometimes wanted weather from places in Canada, and Canada uses both numbers and letters in their postal/zip codes.

I was thinking the same thing as well. Or better yet, make it a configurable option, so those who want it can have it, and those who don't want it can avoid seeing it.

And as long as we are making suggestions for nowhereman, two other pieces of data that I would find useful (to have included) are:

1) The current barometric pressure (and if it is rising, falling, or steady).

2) The current (local time) Sunrise and Sunset times (for today).
