A) Netflix has been capable of subtitles for a while now
B) You are misreading that post. It doesn't say that it supports Netflix subtitles, just that one of the other updates in teh firmware is that it now supports high res subtitles. There is nothing in that post that says it supports Netflix subtitles (I don't know if it does or doesn't).

1) i know that.
2) gotchya. thought that the subtitling capability meant Netflix -> STB. I'm going to post that as a comment to the article to see if I can get some clarification.

It does support Netflix subtitles.

I hope Roku will finally add them too.
