Great this update broke my box. I have a xds and a mitsubishi wd-60c9 and now all I get is a green screen. I have tried plugging all cable in and out several time and rebooting with no luck. Now this awsome product that I never had trouble with is broken.
What type of video cable are you using - HDMI, RGB or RWY ??
Hdmi. I have tested the cable and tried others to no avail.
The "green screen" problem is generally an HDMI handshaking issue (it's not unique to the Roku). Why it didn't occur before this update in your case is hard to say. There are a number of suggested work arounds:
- Make sure the HDMI cable is well-seated in the Roku (some have even shaved back the sheathing around the connector so it goes in fully)
-Turning the TV off/on
- switch the TV to another input and back
- use an AV receiver
- use an HDMI switch box (even if the Roku is the only device on it)
- use component instead of HDMI (if that's an option).
