Funny, every time I am at Google all I see are Apple laptops everywhere. It's standard issue there. Same at Motorola where I have also worked. Plenty of people walking around with iPhones and iPads too.
Also if you read the article, and it sounds like you didn't, she is considering Airport Express, Apple TV, and already owns an iPod Touch.
