Put.io native streaming

Fri Jan 25, 2013 9:32 pm

I've made a private channel that allows for Put.io streaming without needing to involve any other services.
Anyone want to beta test it? I also want to add dropbox streaming, and put.io to dropbox transferring.
Here is a user vote forum to suggest what features I should implement next: http://puke.uservoice.com/forums/192243-general

To beta test sign-up here: http://eepurl.com/uAjSn.

I can't PM you the private channel because you've disabled PMs.

I'm impressed. I like not having to go through 6 extra steps to get to my files. I started, paused, and FF a few movies and everything seems ok so far. I use Put.io a lot so I'll be using this channel more the remainder of the weekend.
What is with the channel name?
Roku 3
Roku LT
and a bunch of original Rokus
Wifi 30 Mbps
Linksys EA6100
Philips 47" LCD 1080P
Roku to TV by HDMI for A/V
Eastern Time Zone (Florida zip code 34987)

Put + Roku = Puke. I hate naming things, so I just went with the first thing that worked. Puke.io is easy to remember, right? And in a sense streaming media is puking it onto the screen.

Glad you like it. I would like to make some new features one time payment items. I really want to get Dropbox working as well, plus transferring between the two, so you can download/transcode on put.io, but have your library on Dropbox. A resume service that allows pausing on one Roku and resuming on the other would be cool.

Is this channel suppose to work on first generation Rokus too? I tried and it keeps kicking me back out.
I have only had a problem with one file playing so far on my Roku2 XS.
Just curious...have we worked together in the past?

So far I have no issue with the channel. The one good thing I have seen is when you add avi files from torrent sites that come back as CD1 and CD2 they play fine.

I haven't tested it on a Roku 1. I didn't think I used anything that was Roku 1 specific, but I must have. I'm looking into getting a 1 on ebay to test with. Can you try and get me the stack dump from the telnet port? I don't know if it is possible to get without being in dev mode.
