About Dropbox, is this something to use in conjunction with Put.io or a replacement for Put.io.
The only experience I have with Dropbox is taking pictures on my phone and they go straight to my computer in Dropbox.

It can be in conjunction with Put.io or instead of it. I want to support as many cloud providers as I can. Box.net would be nice as well...

For some reason I went out into left field and made Puke.io support OPML files. It shows them as a folder, with the feeds as items in the folder. Once you pick a feed it lets you play the podcast. I will also make it possible to add torrent files, if they are in the enclosure, to start downloading on Put.io. It would be an alternative to subscribing to a feed, making it on demand so you don't download things too much automatically.

I will release it soon...

If you want to be prepared, upload an OPML file to your put.io account.

Has anyone been a longtime member of Put.io (beyond the free trial period)? In your opinion is it worth the investment?
Yeah, I got some Rokus.

But how much of that "crap" is the Bittorent file's fault? Can't really blame Put.io for that aspect, can you?
Yeah, I got some Rokus.

PutIo is totally worth it for me. Being able to schedule stuff to download is awesome. The de-dup is also great. The mp4 conversion makes this Roku app possible.

It could be a little but faster to stream though. It would be nicer if they synchronized the content to multiple local servers to speed it up. I'm sure their future competitor will. Until that day, I'll keep sending them my money monthly.

I'm really excited to try this, but when I put my access code in to link my account I get an error message.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have been using Put.io for well over a year now. I use it on a daily basis. I can't imagine life without it.

Can you give me the error message? You are going to http://puke.io/putio/connect correct?

I just put up 1.1 on the Roku store. It includes Podcast support and Folder Actions.

To get the updated channel just enter and exit the channel store.

Check it out and report any issues.

Thanks for helping test!

DTTerastar how do you do the podcasts? Do you just upload OPML files to put.io?

I uploaded several & while they showed the folders there was nothing in any of my folders so not sure what I did wrong
