What's with the Roku SEARCH function?

Mon Feb 18, 2013 5:53 pm

it promises to look on "Amazon, Hulu Plus,Netflix, HBO GO, VUDU AND Crackle"!!!

A few days ago, I began seeing the Ad at the bottom of the Home screen advertising "The Da Vinci Code" on CRACKLE for FREE. Just for S's and G's I decided to give the search engine a whirl - I punched in "Da Vinci Code" and lo and behold it came up with availabilty on "VUDU / from $9.99 OR Amazon/ from $5.99" NO mention of the movie being available onCRACKLE for FREE!!!
What's up with THAT? :x

Some complaints lately about Crackle kicking you out or crashing the box when you try to play a movie. May have something to do with that.

As I said in the other thread, the problem re: search is universal with all video guides. By the time they get updated crackle no longer has the movie in it's line up.

This isn't the end of the world as we know it, I did read through the other thread and as I said I don't know squat about the technical cheezwhiz stuff and I don't CARE whose fault it is, Roku and Crackle (or FILL IN THE BLANK) need to work together, fix it and pat themselves and each other on the backs
