Remove channel that no longer appears on the list

Thu Mar 27, 2014 4:01 am

I would like to remove the Nowhere TV and Halloween channels but they
are no longer in the Channel Store list, that I could find. Help!

Use the * button on the remote.
NowhereTV is a private channel. It's never been in the channel store.

If it is on one of the original Rokus (N1000 or N11000 or the like) then there is no "*" button on the remote but in the channel store there is a row called "My Channels" (You have to scroll up to the very top to get to it) and every channel that is installed on your Roku should appear there. You can select a channel from that row and the option to remove it will be there.

you can also set an older roku up with remoku on your phone or pc and access a * button that way.
for some reason my n1000 won't ever load the "my channels" row anymore so i make changes with remoku
(when i don't just go grab the newer IR remote from my xd/s in the other room)
N1000, roku1 XD/s, roku2 xs, roku3

Yes. Also you can use almost any of the Android remotes. (There are a great number of them) There is one from Roku that works OK but I use one called "Remote for Roku" from "Jigawatt Labs" that is, in my opinion, quite a bit better in that it allows for landscape operation and when you choose the channel display for direct entry to a channel it displays my entire channel library on my 10 inch tablet. (I currently have about 50 channels more would require scrolling)

I initially just wanted to give the most basic info but there are several options available.
