You aren't making any sense. You say the Roku needs a firmware update, then you outline the steps to update the firmware on the router. I don't believe you are offering any information that would be of assistance. You're only going to confuse the OP.

We just figured out that our wifi signal booster was somehow interfering, even though Roku express had been working with it for some time prior to stopping. When we disconneted the booster, Roku works again!  Thanks to all who posted here; it helped us identify our problem.
