I figured I'd make a new thread so the Roku personnel could clearly find some ongoing problems after the latest update without wading through a lot of other stuff.
Please make sure if you post to include your equipment and or settings to help them maybe troubleshoot and for others to understand what is going on and possibly be able to make suggestions and help.
1. I am still getting a pop or chirp in audio when watching something on my Roku Ultra, it happens randomly. Roku is set to auto HDMI out and Roku is hooked to the receiver in my sig which is capable of DD+ via HDMI cable
2. The only other issue I see after 7.5.1 4095-29 is that sometimes Netflix won't engage HDR unless I reload Netflix. 4K will work fine, just HDR won't kick in when it should. The Samsung TV I have will have a banner appear at the top every time an HDR signal is being fed to it is how I know when it isn't working properly. After reloading Netflix it plays HDR fine.. until this happens again making me reload Netflix again.
For example I go into Netlix app then start playing Marco Polo which shows the HDR title logo. It will play but no HDR banner shows up at the top of my tv screen and I can clearly see it isn't as bright as when it's in HDR mode. I then go into the Netflix app settings and click reload then try to play Marco Polo again and then it goes into HDR, it is bright and the banner on my tv comes up proclaiming it is receiving an HDR signal.
