I tried it with my Amcrest cameras and could not get a picture. I thought they were similar to Foscams, but apparently not enough. They're 1080p. I tried all the camera types but no luck. This would be neat if it would work.
If your camera can stream in mjpeg, it will work. Find the mjpeg stream link that works in your browser, for example if the link that works in the browser is:http://your_camera_ip/cgi-bin/mjpg/video.cgi?channel=1&subtype=1
then take everything that's after the IP and put it in "MJPEG Link" when you add a camera:
MJPEG Link: /cgi-bin/mjpg/video.cgi?channel=1&subtype=1
For some cameras the login and password should be in the link, for example for some Foscam, you don't enter anything in the Login / Password fields and the mjpeg link looks like:/videostream.cgi?user=your_user_login&pwd=your_password&resolution=32&rate=0
Most of the "Example Cameras" are just examples on how the links should look like, you still have to find your camera settings and enter them manually. Best way it's to get it working in the browser and then copy what you found to the IP Camera Viewer.
