how to disable demomode or enable or disable internal flash memory?

For the SB radio, here are the steps to get out of demo mode. If that's not what you are looking for, please clarify..

Here are the steps to disable the retail demo mode:

1. Plug SoundBridge Radio into an electrical outlet WHILE AT THE SAME TIME holding down the A-B-C button on the top panel of SoundBridge Radio until the display lights up.

2. It is important to keep holding down the A-B-C button until you see the active SoundBridge Radio display.

3. Now, when SoundBridge Radio powers up it will function as a regular SoundBridge Radio product.

Consult your manual to continue with the standard setup process. Please note if you should ever select the Reset To Factory Defaults option, this unit will revert back to the retail demo, and you will have to follow these steps again to deactivate it.

Re: demo-mode

I have an M1000 that I bought from a Tweeters store liquidiation years ago, just getting around to setting it up. But it's stuck in demo mode. In this thread and elsewhere on this board I find instructions to exit out of demo mode for the R1000. How does one exit out of the demo mode for the M1000? (Neither the unit or the remote for the M1000 have an ABC button). Thanks!

Try booting your SoundBridge in "Safe Mode" as follows: Unplug your SoundBridge from power. Next, disconnect the Ethernet cable and remove the wireless card. Point the SoundBridge remote control at the SoundBridge and press and hold any key on the remote (TIP: The arrow buttons are large and easy to hold down). Continue holding down the button and pointing the remote at the SoundBridge while you reconnect the SoundBridge to power. After a few seconds, the SoundBridge should boot with "Safe Mode" displayed on the screen. Choose "Reset to factory defaults" and follow the on-screen instructions to reset the SoundBridge.
