Mon Apr 14, 2008 11:33 am

Hi,

this may be a very stupid questions.
Is there any way to stream the sound of a live DVD/CD to the Soundbridge+ I would like to watch DVDs on my laptop but get the sound from my stereo???

Any idea! Please tell me even if embarrassingly simple!

I don't think so ... sound on a DVD movie is stored in a different format; you can find utilities to extract it and convert it to a format like MP3, but it wouldn't be seamless or real time.

You can find adapters for the mini-plugs used on your laptop's audio output to the RCA plugs on your stereo, so you could do an old-fashioned hard wired set up.

Actually, the portable FM transmitter idea is the best one! They are pretty inexpensive and work pretty well (my daughter uses one for her iPod).
