I recently took the plunge and purchased a SoundBridge M1001. It works perfectly, but all my music was stored on a USB hard drive which worked out to be a bit inconvenient when wanting to listen to my music.
I decided to buy a 'Network Storage Series' Case. I got it from Maplins (its this: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Tab ... &criteria=
Anyway, ive hooked it up via my Wireless router (hard cabled into the back) and I can access it via my computer no problem. I can also access the files via windows media player (in the library).
In the ideal world I would like to access my music from the NAS directly and stream it to soundbridge. I would like to do this without the computer being switched on. Ive had a look into this Fireplay, but from what I can see this is also a service that runs on your computer.
Ive had a search through the forum but cant find the exact info I need. Can anyone help?
