Yeah it makes sense. So, in essence, it's the same as using the 169.254.x.y subnet? It works the way you proposed as well, but still not internet radio, clock, etc.
The SB then needs to go back to the 192.168.1.y subnet and then the bridged adapters will then have a single IP also on the 192.168.1.y sub....correct?
