Soundbridge M1001 gone dark

Fri Jul 29, 2011 12:52 pm

My SoundBridge had gone dark. :( No display action, no network connection, nothing. The first thing I checked was the power supply, but my multi-meter reports a steady 5 VDC so that's not the problem.

Are there any diagnostics I can try or is there a way to force some kind of internal reset? Is there an internal fuse that I can check?

Thanks
Paul

Did you check it under load?

Please read this sticky dealing with power issues.

Ah-ha! The power supply's performance under load was less than stellar. I'll find another PSU and give it a try, but I'll bet that will solve my problem.

Thanks
