Sun Apr 15, 2012 6:55 am

Having a major dilemma after years of care free use?
Roku can:
connect to wifi network at home
can play internet radio without problem
is shown on home laptop network map

roku can't:
find wmp libraries anymore

wmp:
no longer allows"play to" feature
still has streaming enableb
roku device NOT showing in list of devices like it used to in windows....

mcafee firewall still the same
roku shows as enabled in the mcafee program

What is the problem? I am about to through the player into the garbage.......

Since the Soundbridge is playing internet radio then it is unlikely that there is a fault with the device, resist the urge to throw it away. It's probably a network blockage (duplicate IP or similar).

Assuming you have not changed anything on your router or WMP, simply restarting all your devices starting with the router should make the problem go away.
