Re-bufferama with Belkin Modem Router

Fri Aug 31, 2012 5:59 am

Hi all.

I've had an M1000 Soundbridge working fine for 2 years with a Belkin N Wireless Modem Router F5D8636-4 V2. I have just downloaded an update for the software for the modem router. Now both the internet radio and connecting to my pc are constantly re-buffering. Also playing radio stops frequently, getting the 'preparing to play' message then the only solution is to restart Modem Router.

Please help, this thing's been superb for years and now it's a nightmare!

Cheers.

Is there any way to revert to the old firmware on the router? Check 'Support' on the Belkin website. Perhaps they have older versions available for download.

Hi 46jimbo. I could do that I guess but I upgraded the modem software as I was having modem problems, so I may have solved one problem and thus created another.

More ideas welcome please!
