I managed to pick up two Pinnacle Soundbridges in a charity shop very cheap with a remote control. I'm using one for internet radio, it works fantastically. Is there any way I can stream the audio output from my macbook to the soundbridge, a bit like airplay? I can get access to my music collection on the macbook using a program called Mediashare, and I've also found an Android remote for Soundbridge which is rather cool, but if I could just send audio output to it, it would be perfect! Any ideas?

You can stream your music with Muse-osx against an icecast server.
When adding the URL of the icecast server to you soundbridge it will play the same music as on your macbook.
However I noticed that Muse-osx crashes a lot.
I think the same can be done with VLC, but I never tried.

Brilliant, thanks! I've just found I can use Nicecast to do the same thing, although I'm now struggling to find a way to enter the URL of the station on the soundbridge, I only seem to be able to find stations in their own listing.

Got it! Just entered the IP address of the Soundbridge into a browser, and there's a configuration page where you can set the presets! Now streaming some Black Crowes to my stereo. Totally and utterly awesome.
