Is Windows 10 the end for my M1000?

Sun Sep 13, 2015 2:37 am

Hello.

Upgraded my PC to WIndows 10 recently. I see on Microsoft's website it states the M1000 is not compatible.

Seems to be the case, I get a message 'Failed to load browse data. Invalid result received' when trying to browse my music.

Is this the end or is there a workaround?

Major bummer.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Cheers.

Hello Force Legato,

welcome to the forums.

I get a message 'Failed to load browse data. Invalid result received' when trying to browse my music.

The workaround is to install a decent UPnP/DLNA server software on your PC, for example MediaMonkey, Twonky Sever or Foobar with the UPnP/DLNA Renderer, Server, Control Point component.

Hi dupondt.

Aha brilliant. Have installed MediaMonkey. Problem solved.

Many thanks for your help.

Cheers!
