Deprecated APIs - roDeviceInfo methods

Hello,
Regarding roDeviceInfo methods that will stop working next year (https://blog.roku.com/developer/develop ... oku-os-8-1). What it will happen if these methods will be used by a Channel after it will be removed from the firmware? Will the channel just crash when these methods will be called or these methods will return an "null" or invalid response?
