Hi

I have searcing the forum quite a lot and read a lot and finaly I found out a way to do it.

In the /etc/inittab I addded this line as the last line

::respawn:/usr/local/bin/photo -s -d /mnt/flash1/

Now it does start playing as I wanted after the power has been recycled and the unit reboot.

But I do see another problem which I hope someone can explain.
I use a Mpeg clip of 5 sec duration (Programstrream I frames only 6mbit/s
file size are like 2MBytes

In this clip I have a animation where last frame fits to firat frame in the clip.

When the HD1000 strats to playe the clip looping forever there is something strange happens.

the animation are total seemlees and smooth when the playback goes over the first loop but next time it's freezing for mayby 0.5 sec wheb the loop starts over and it continiue like this.

What goes wrong?

Why does it works in the the first loop?

I did look on the aquarium Mpeg file which basicly also do loop forever here I do not see the freezing (or the fish are to slow).

The aquarium arer a TS so I did try to convert my clip to TS but still got the frezees.

I hope there are a simple explanation.

BTW I run 2.0.34

On other Mpeg players I can loop my mpegclip seemlees.

Best regards
