I am outputing video from a PB1000 to a monitor that only excepts VGA signal and would like to know if it is possible to use video pass through (from a DVD player). From another post I saw RokuPatrick's response about "the component input is only able to be routed to the component output" when using VPT. Does this mean that I would only be able to pass through on identical video in/out interfaces?

I believe that it only works for component in/out.

The passthough circuitry is unable to do any transcoding, so component in to component out (similarly with both SVideo and Composite). There's no support for VGA passthrough at all, sorry.
