Netgear SC101

The Netgear SC101 looks to be a cost effective way to add NAS to a network. Has anyone tried to use one with a PhotoBridge?

the SC101 product only works with windows currently. Linux support might come some day, but unlikely in a way that would work for the roku.

This product does not do SMB or NFS. It uses some driver on the client OS to serve up. IMO, crap. There are also concerns about inadequete cooling on the drives.

It's unfortunate because it should have been fast with internal IDE connections. The linksys NSLU2 that works well for the most part suffers a bit on performance with the usb connection. But unless the Kurobox gets more solid, I think the linksys is the best way to go still.
