While my date had the correct year (maybe the Roku sets itself via a network time server), I can not manually set the year to 2007 in the control panel.

I can't figure out how to use ntpdate or date commands (in /bin) to set the date in the proper format.

Doesn't really matter, but has anyone got a suggestion to fix it?

EDIT: Well, it looks like the Roku updated itself from a network time server. Pretty funny that they didn't plan ahead for 2007 in the settings panel. They probably though they would have gotten a software update out by then.

I've got the same problem but mine doesn't update from a time server. Why would they limit the century to only 2006?

Maybe they figured all the power supplies would be dead before then.
