I'm quite happy with my PhotoBridges, but there is a new hardware box coming out in a couple of months that I plan on getting. Its definitely not perfect (some things the PhotoBridge will do better), but it should make an excellent addition. And it has both VGA and HDMI outputs

OK, I'll bite; what are you planning on checking out?

I want to see the Radio shipped! Hopefully then we'll know where we stand. I'd like to see my wish-list developed and released.

Here here! I must admit, I'd love to have .H264 support for the Photobridge; wonder if it's possible with the current hardware?

As I mentioned, some things the PhotoBridge does better (like I don't think it could do high bitrate TS without copying files to its internal drive), but I think it should nicely compliment the PhotoBridge for me.

H.264 is a very intensive codec, its really the type of thing the hardware has to be designed for, so no, the current hardware couldn't do it.

Are there any plans for the MediaBox to include support for either FLAC or WAVPack?

Well, there are looking to add lossless support, and they're currently looking at both FLAC and WavPack (though obviously no promises).

But I don't really think its right to talk about the Mediabox here, it does have its own forum:

Cheers soiaf. Very interesting piece of kit - it's basically the media functionality from the Crystalio 2 video processor. VOB/ISO playback with full DVD menus.

That's the final nail in the coffin for the Photobridge as far as I'm concerned.

This HD Mediabox looks very promising.
