I use the roku to stream HD files I have pulled off of HDV tape -- with a data rate of about 27 mbit/sec. The upgrade has enabled this to happen without a glitch -- thanks much!

Where am I streaming from?

Well, I just have the files stashed on a Buffalo Link Station -- file server. It is pretty simple. I use MPLAY as the player on the Roku.
