Cant connect to PB once edited rc.local

Wed Apr 26, 2006 12:33 pm

Hi,

I tried to put smb network swapfile to get started automatically on PB startup by putting the needed commands to rc.local... I made some typo and now the PB is in some loop in startup, constantly blinking the led.

Is there any way to recover from this situation, e.g. way to boot to "linux single" more to edit rc.local again?

I guess one way might be to use flash to re-install 2.0.36 software...

Hi IlkkaNisula.

Try to disconnect the network and remove all flashcards before booting.

Bye... Casper.

Did not help at all. I will try to flash the unit again with 2.0.36 version of software...

Flashing the the unit again helped.
I moved to using automatic flash scripts found in this forum, more safer way of doing things.
