I sent a PM to RokuMike last week about this. He said he'd pass it on to the appropriate people. Until they get around to updating the links, I've made 2.0.35 available here: http://www.permanence.com/roku/formatup_2035.zip

Thanks. :) I assume that the formatup.rok from the top thread is the 2.0.36 firmware?

Do you recommend that I update to 2.0.35 first, or just go for 2.0.36? I'm going to take my Art Pack CF card to the office tomorrow and burn some firmwares onto it. Presume it's only safe to do one at a time. Firmware on my box was still 1.5.18, no wonder the guy got hacked off with it. I have 816 MPEG-2 (PS and TS) files and 11000 MP3 files. And out of the box the HD1000 won't play a single one of them.

However, I shall upgrade the FW and use MPlay, and we shall see.

I, personally, would go with 2.0.35. The only difference between the two is a supposed increase in SMB bandwidth, but many people reported problems with it. So, give 2.0.35 a try first, and only move up to 2.0.36 if you have issues with high bitrate video files.

I don't have 2.0.36. If you have any problems with 2.0.35, you can get 2.0.34 here: http://home.comcast.net/~burnsdg/roku/formatup_2034.rar
