Re: Media RSS Feeds & BrightAuthor

Hi all,
I'm looking for an URL media rss feed that could inform me about the weather in a city using an image...
If it is a sunny day I should see an image with a sun for instance.
I have found this one http://www.rssweather.com/wx/es/sevilla/rss.php but when I write this URL to the URL for rss feed in brightAuthor, I get the following message: "This feed is not a valid media RSS feed"
I have also try with this one: http://www.rssweather.com/hw3.php?place ... medium=rss but I get this message for this URL: "Unable to access specified RSS feed. Check the URL or try a new one"
Thanks for your help.
Regards.

It's possible those feeds are html hybrids, and aren't true rss 2.0 feeds. You could try adding one of those feeds to microsoft's frameit service, or to framechannel's service, and then use the frameit or framechannel url with brightauthor. I know that the media rss links generated by frameit live and framechannel both work with brightauthor and the brightsign.

The framechannel account works perfectly! I am surprised at just how well it turned out. Glad I found this post and directions.

For the framechannel account, it will ask you what device manufacture you have, scroll to the bottom and select OTHER, then on the next option, select NOT LISTED.

Thanks

Does anyone know of a solution similar to FrameChannel that will work with Brightsign?

Thanks
