Does anyone know a way to access Vietnamese language movies or media on Roku?

I don't know if it will help, but catastrophegirl maintains a list of channels for the Roku (both private and official) that remains consistently updated. I don't know of any specific channels off-hand per your request however, but this would probably be your first best stop at investigation.

I have an FTA (free-to-air) satellite system at my house and my wife is able to watch 15 Thai language channels over the satellite for free, she can pay for additional channels if she desires. There is some Vietnamese content available over FTA as well. I have included a link that may help you if you are interested in purchasing such a system. I installed mine about four years ago and have had no problems with it. I paid a total of $350 for the receiver, dish, and a pro to install it so it wasn't very expensive. I hope this helps. http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Channels/Viet ... annels.htm

I attempted to make a channel using these sources below. I was able to find a live stream for four of them, but recently the content provider(s) changed their format (to flash).

Maybe another developer can try.

Isn't Mummy Box long dead?
BTW, just installed GlobalTV from the Channel Store. It offers 2 streams in Vietnamese, unfortunately neither of them were working.
In the mean time they work off and on, but at least one of them appears to broadcast from the US, not Vietnam.

Mummy Box is dead now but it wasn't six weeks ago when the post you quoted was made.

Just to resurrect an old thread.

There is a few series on the V network channel. You can find the MasterChef Vietnam version 2013 to watch along with other viet series.

Check it out if you haven't! I'm more on hulu+, netflix and dramafewer which take so much of my time already!
