SlimRoku: SqueezeCenter 7 for SlimRoku dontation thread

Tue Jun 03, 2008 5:42 am

Per this post

http://forums.rokulabs.com/viewtopic.php?t=16189

we are working up a bounty to see if The Endless can be taken out of code retirement to update SlimRoku to support SqueezeCenter 7 (or what ever it’s called now).

If you would like to commit to a dontation, then reply to this thread pelase.(no paypal transfers untill we get a green light)

No promises on this even happening, we are just trying to see what we can do. The Endless has said he is very busy with other projects and is not using his HD1000's right now.

So far we are at $315
$50 – Burkhardi
$50 - Takmad ( from here )
$50 - Soiaf
$20 - dgburns
$50 - dbenolki
$25 - Gregavi
$50- chackett
$20 - na9d

I'd happily donate $50 to see it working with version 7.

It's better then a poke in the eye with a sharp stick

That's is fine, anything helps and $20 is not chump change, it's 20 bucks ( even more so with gas being so high)!

Thanks for helping the cause!

In the process of sending my HD1000 to Austin for repair and will miss it dearly. However, I'm good for $50 since I have used SlimRoku for years.

Thanks Endless!!

Put me down for $25. In the mean time, anyone know where I can get the previous version of Slimserver?

I just had my PB repaired by Pyramid Audio in Austin Tx. $104 plus shipping to get it there. So far so good. They claim that their repair will help prevent the same problem in the future. We shall see!

$50 - Takmad ( from here )

In the past month all three of my HD1000's have died (two of which had already been repaired).

I'm moving on.

Sorry guys, but I am pulling my $50 pledge. Anyone care to purchase 3 (dead) HD1000s? I've got one lead at $30/each, but welcome other offers.

Count me in if this thread's still live...

Sun Oct 19, 2008 8:49 am

Support for AlienBBC on SC 6.5 has all but dried up, and with the BBC changing iPlayer so often, I can no longer get Listen Again on my Soundbridge in its current config.

So unless this plea to The Endless is successful, it'll be one less Soundbridge owner, and one more Squeezebox owner :( . Put me down for $100 (or whatever that is in Euros...)
