British Streaming TV

Thu Oct 06, 2011 9:15 am

I just got my Roku hooked up last night. One thing I figured out recently on my laptop is how to access UK tv stations. BBC and Channel 4 have an incredible amount of content but you have to have a UK ip address to access. I started using Expat Shield which establishes a UK proxy and it works nicely.

I was wondering if it is possible to use something like that via Roku?

This probably isn't the best place to ask. Roku usually doesn't allow discussion about circumventing copyright laws on their forum. Just saying...
No, I don't work for Roku.

As stated, this practice is not legal, and these threads are generally shut down because of it. :(
