PDF viewer App?

Tue Nov 23, 2004 4:48 pm

I think it would be cool if someone ported a PDF viewer app to the HD1000 to view the HD1000 manuals and guides. Is anyone working on this?

I suppose a work around would be if Roku converted these files to jpg and then we could just zoom in on them to read them. They could roll them all into an "art pack" and make it a free download. It would be cool if they could play some cool background music like mission impossible or something :)

A built in help system would be cool.

I have converted the user guide to jpg and made it into an art pack. It is really convenient to view this on the Roku! The Roku manual is printed in the same dimensions as 1280x720, so its perfect! Its almost like Roku planned it that way.

I wish I could upload it. If someone from Roku wants to see it I could email it to them. It took awhile to do, lots of ctlr-prntscrn and cut/pasting. All 33 pages fit into 4 meg zip file.

cool, we'd love to see it.

Do you have an ftp site or something we could grab it from?
