Christmas movie channels?

Mon Nov 18, 2013 1:58 pm

My wife and I got rid of cable 3-4 months ago and have really enjoyed our Roku experience so far. However my wife is a HUGE fan of the Christmas movies that come on networks like Hallmark, Lifetime and ABC Family. I was wondering if anyone here knew of any Roku specific channels that may help us out. Netflix has a few and doing a search on the Roku reveals some more but buying each movie can add up. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I think all of the pay-per-view channels should offer some ideas.. Amazon Video, Vudu, Target, etc.. Their selections will be similar, but I think the closer to Christmas we get, the more "limited time" rentals will pop up. You don't have to "buy" them either- they should be available for $2-$4 dollars.

Still cheaper than paying $80 for cable!
Yeah, I got some Rokus.

There is the SpiritClips channel from Hallmark. Free 1 week trial and then $2.99 a month. It has Hallmark movies and SpiritClips original Short Films. It on my list of future free trials, since I only want one free trial at time so get the most out my free trial. I think I'll be signing up for this one in mid-December for the Christmas movies.
