My M1000's ethernet has died. I bought it in November of 2004, so it is a few months out of warranty. So, I suppose my only option at this point is to buy another one, and there comes the problem. I'm having a hard time convincing my wife that the M1000 is worth $200 a year.
Should this be considered an unusual failure? The Roku has been in the stereo cabinet and not moved, so it wasn't jostled or had the cables yanked.
Are there people out there using ethernet for several years without problems?
